Who is Ainsley Ricketts?
Ainsley developed his skills at The Urdang Academy, where he was mentored by renowned UK choreographer Dean Lee. His expertise covers contemporary, lyrical, commercial, and freestyle dance.
Ainsley has experience across various industry roles, including performing, assisting, and choreographing.
He teaches at studios worldwide, including some of London’s top dance institutions, and is the founder of the Orenda Dance Programme, launched in December 2018.
Experience & Career
After finishing his training he went into performing in musicals such as Motown (Westend), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Westend), Barnum, Bugsy Malone and The Wedding Singing (UK Tour), Legally Blonde (Assistant Choreographer).
Throughout his training he has assisted on the likes of X Factor UK and many other projects.
Ainsley had the privilege of dancing for Janet Jackson, Fleur East, Charlie XCX, Troy Sivan, Hailee Steinfield, Rina Sawayama – Cherry (Music video) & on Strictly Come Dancing (ITV), MTV EMAs.
